European carrier neutral data center operator Interxion (www.interxion.com) announced Wednesday that Telecom Italia Sparkle www.tisparkle.com () has expanded its relationship with Interxion by locating the equipment in the company recently completed Frankfurt 5 data centers.
The announcement follows the recent partnership with the Association of Interxion Internet Neutral Exchange INEX extended infrastructure in two data centers Interxion Dublin.
Telecom Italia Sparkle already has a presence in Frankfurt Interxion 2, Dusseldorf, Brussels, Paris and Vienna, the data center.
Teleco’s network continues to grow both in footprint and ability to support their largest portfolio of connectivity services.
Interxion data centers make data concentrator Frankfurt Germany’s largest, which will give Telecom Italia Sparkle the opportunity to meet new customers and peering partners.
The center provides direct connectivity to over 150 operators and Internet service providers and 80 per cent of the members of German Internet Exchange DE-CIX.
5 Frankfurt installation can provide up to 30 kW per cabinet to meet the energy needs for the last settings of high-density servers. It has air cooling as standard to optimize energy efficiency.
