Colocation, dedicated hosting and IP transit solutions firm, Pryme Technologies, has made public plans for a new 72,000 square foot tier three info center facility to be found in the center of the Dulles Technology corridor. The new facility will be served by twenty-one megawatts of available power permitting for a big selection of flexible and cost effective power configuration options. The site built in 2009 offers 72,000 sq. feet of datacenter space composed of twenty foot ceilings, three foot raised flooring for optimum cooling, two hundred watts per square foot cooling capabilities in standard configuration, 300+ watts per square foot cooling with overhead supplemental cooling, twin fiber entry points with completely various dark fiber rings reaching to the Equinix Ashburn Campus, N+1 UPS systems, N+1 CRAC systems, N+1 chilled water systems, N+1 generator backup power, N+1 network systems ( Cisco based ), pre-action dry pipe fire suppression, and a fully secured facility with twenty-four / 7 staffed NOC. Pryme Technologies’ network includes over 70 Gigabit capacity to the web through nine various suppliers and over 640 Gigabit capacity between the Equinix Ashburn campus and the Pryme Datacenter site.
