World IT hosting company, PEER one, has launched its first UK info center, with a new SuperNetwork in Europe. We are always thrilled to bring another data centre to life and we are expecting watching this one grow in accordance with our customers”.
The company already works alongside over 5 hundred companies in the United Kingdom and EMEA and is making an investment in next generation info centre infrastructure to supply access to its SuperNetworkTM alongside local client service and operations.
If a supplier only depends on a Tier one Network, they haven’t any backbone and simply a group of standalone core routers. They are completely dependent on working with web routing issues by rising them to Network Operations Centers, which can take days to decide.
They don’t have any recourse to employ a spine or peering system to by-pass the issue, which fundamentally means if your hosting is with them and they get screwed, so do you. Found just outside of London, the info centre provisioning follows the opening of PEER one’s ECU HQ in Southampton UK, reinforcing the company’s physical footprint in Europe alongside its existing POPs, online since 2005, in both London ( LINX ) and Amsterdam ( AMS-IX ).
Thru its initial provisioning of one hundred secure racks, the info centre design delivers energy-efficient downflow and green cold-aisle containment, upstream IP transit direct to the POP in London with redundant fibre connecting PEER 1’s worldwide SuperNetworkTM to the info centre and UPS back-up and generator redundancy power. In accordance with PEER one’s existing worldwide info centres, the United Kingdom location will operate on a Cisco core with Foundry load balancing and Juniper dedicated customer firewalls.
PEER one’s wholly-owned SuperNetworkTM offers highly scalable and available content delivery to consumers thru Fast-Ethernet and Gigabit-Ethernet access over thirteen thousand miles of fibre connectivity. This content delivery network ( CDN ) delivers quicker connections and improved uptime to consumers thru its strong network spine, alongside efficient single-source fault resolution that eliminates reliance on 3rd party carrier resolution.
The corporation’s HQ are in Vancouver, Canada and the stock is traded on the TSX under the symbol PIX.
