The statement comes on the heels of the firm’s latest capital gain from long-time financing partner US Bank, which it to back the enlargement and improvement of its data centers. Effective October 1, the Shooks will step down from their daily operations but will keep having an active presence on the Consonus board, providing key strategic direction for the company.
As a consequence of these changes, Bob McCarthy, executive VP of sales and selling, and John Roger, chief operating officer, will both take on the role of co-president of Consonus. McCarthy will oversee all sides of sales, promoting, channels, coalitions, and business development, while Roger will lead every aspect of operations, finance, and consumer support. Additionally, Nana Baffour, executive boss man of the consonus board, will be more concerned in the strategic direction and operation of the company, working with McCarthy, Roger and the remainder of the executive management team.
McCarthy has served as the Consonus executive vice chairman of sales and promoting since June 2008. Before joining Consonus, he served as the president, Head honcho , and board member of VoIP and business collusion services provider Ring nine. He has formerly served as VP of the Florida and Caribbean markets for CA, and in a selection of positions in sales, selling and operations at ATT. Roger has served as executive vice chairman and chief operating officer of Consonus since Aug 2007.
He in addition has served as the chief operating officer and chief finance officer of VilCom, as well as in a selection of roles at the General Electrical Company. “I am happy with the fantastic executive team that we have in place to execute our next part of growth,” claims Baffour.
