ARIN to Host IPv6 Web Hosting Session at 25th Public Policy Meeting Next Month in Toronto

The American Registry for Internet Numbers (www.arin.net) conduct IPv6 hosting session at its meeting in public policy, ARIN XXV, next month in Toronto, designed to bring together industry professionals, representatives of government and leaders of the Internet community together in an open and productive.

Passing the first day of ARIN XXV, ranging from 18 to April 21, 2010 at the InterContinental Toronto Centre, the hosting session will include presentations describing the current policy of Internet number resources that apply to the web hosting industry, dual stack (IPv4/IPv6 session) hosting services provider, and the questions and answers to gain a further insight regarding the deployment of IPv6.

The slow adoption of IPv6 is becoming a major problem for all companies and organizations throughout the world concerned about their future operation of the network. The set of technical intellectual property rules that define how devices communicate over a network is now available in two versions, IPv4 and IPv6. IPv6 includes a modern numbering system provides a set of addresses much larger than IPv4 addresses, which are rapidly running out.

Monitor the assignment of all Internet number resources, the Number Resource Organization (www.nro.net), the official representative of the five Regional Internet Registries (including ARIN), announced earlier this year that less than 10 percent available IPv4 addresses remain unassigned, and will soon be over.

most recent meeting of ARIN, ARIN XXIV was held in Dearborn, Michigan, in October 2009, and Toronto next meeting will be held in Atlanta, Georgia, in October 2010.
