Organization of data center and the event organizer AFCOM (www.afcom.com) announced Monday that hosts the Data Center World Expo 2010 and the Media (www.datacenterworld.com), held from 7 to 11 March at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center Nashville.
Last October, Data Center World Expo 2009 and saw more than 600 professionals from the data center at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort and Convention Center.
More than 800 professionals from the central data management will gather at this year’s event, which offers tours in vivo data center, educational sessions and a tutorial that covers all aspects of the data center.
The event will include an opening session, “Are You Ready to Ride the Four Tsunami about to reach your data center?” Equinix CIO Brian Lillie in adapting their business strategies with those of its customers.
On Wednesday, the conference will see the presentation of AFCOM Data Center Manager of the Year Award recipient, selected from more than 40 nominations. The three finalists have data center managers Chevron, MetLife and Information Services of Trinidad.
The World Data Center exhibition hall opens on March 9 and has 200 leading industry suppliers, including 3Com, HP and Mitsubishi, to highlight their latest technology, products and services.

The five-day conference began on Sunday with live data center tours held at Vanderbilt University and Networks Dolphinias.
The visits showed the facilties “dual grid connectivity” and “ability to absorb energy renewable energy premium price,” according to BroadGroup.
The conference also will host four seminars focused on the simultaneous optimization of data center infrastructure, development of policies and procedures of a study manual, the case of data center design and re-update, a forum interactive solutions, and more than 75 practical classes and tutorials.
